MIX '06 Session

Some words on my MIX session, along with a link to a podcast on the session.

I am really late on this whole blogging about MIX thing... but I've been out for some time and just got back last week. Anyway, better late than never, right?

I'll be presenting one of the Atlas talks, titled Building Components and Services for the Programmable Web where I'll cover various aspects of the programmable Web, in terms of building mash-up scenarios and other forms of data sharing across applications. For my demos I'll be showing simplified versions of scenarios I first implemented in my Virtual Places mash-up. Since then, we've added some cool new features in Atlas that will further simplify development of such applications. I'll also cover how one can go about implementing these scenarios in a reusable manner using script components. Finally, I am planning on briefly demonstrating building services, live gadgets, and incorporating some very cool new technology around data sharing that you'll just have to be there to see (any guesses?) :-)

Before I left for my user group tour, I did a phone interview on my MIX session. You can check out the podcast version of that on Channel 9.
